Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member as well as the captain of the Fierce Five in 2012 and the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman was a gymnast from the United States who won gold at the 2012 Olympics. She became the first American gymnast in the Olympics to earn the most medals. Her gold medal in the Olympics in 2016 was the second gold in a row for the United States team. It made her along with fellow teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans - to achieve this accomplishment. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. Following the 2nd Olympics, she took three years off from gymnastics. She also was part of gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. She began her gymnastics training when she was just two years old and is a fan of floor exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandma. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation in fashion and would like to expand her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. The book she is working on is entitled Fierce which will come out at the end of this year.
